Cyclops Fairies

Name: None, this is a species, not an individual

Species: They don't have an official name yet

Animal/anthro or both: I guess you could call it anthro?

Gender: You can draw either one, they look about the same aside from boobs and the fact that the males are a bit taller and more muscular than females.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: They are extremely small, the size of small insects. Very fluffy, the fur is mostly orangish or yellowish, I've never given them any markings but you can if you like. Some subspecies can be other colors, but they usually range from white to various shades of cream, yellow, orange and umber. The adults have 2 pairs of wings, like a butterfly or dragonfly, i've drawn them with eye spots but once again, you're encouraged to get creative with them, they're usually pale yellow and green, but the markings can be darker. They have 2 legs and 4 arms, and feathery antennae on their heads with eye spots or circular patterns, a prehensile tail and one eye. The babies are kind of like little caterpillers, they start out a bit more compact when they are small and elongate a bit before they pupate and turn into adults, the babies have 6 legs and tiny nubs for antennae.

- Eyes: Any color.

- Main color coat: Yellow, gold or orange, they can be plain or they can have markings.

- Hair/mane: Usually the same as the rest of the body, can be lighter or darker.

- Tattoos: None

- Scars: You can add them if you like

- Physical particularities: None

Personality: Varies, most are very shy, but some can very curious and mischevious. They are omnivores, and not very picky, they eat smaller creatures, fruits, plant shoots, sap, ect. Some are solitary, but they often live in small tribes, and cooperate to find food and defend each other. The young are cared for almost casually, they are independant and capable of feeding themselves, but they usually stick close to their tribe and are defended by the adults. Some young are completely independant.

Jewelry/Clothing/: Usually the don't wear any, but you could draw them with some primitive clothing and jewelry if you like, I imagine some tribes might be more advanced than others.

Preferred Mood/Theme: Anything is ok.

Preferred Environment: They usually live in forests and other wild areas, but sometimes they will live in rural and urban areas if they can find food and shelter.
