Blue Lacewing
Name: No name, this is a species, not a character.
Species: Blue Lacewing Dragon.
Animal/anthro or both: Animal, I've never drawn an anthro version before, but you can if you like.
Gender: You can draw either one, although I've never drawn a male.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Medium large blue dragon, about the size of a horse, with large scales and fins along its back, has two pairs of tentacle-like things that come off the back of its head. Blue with hints of purple and pink spots on top, fades to a creamy underbelly, undersides of tentacles are also cream colored. Wings and fins are a light bluish purple, face is beaky, when mouth is closed there are usually no visible teeth, they have many small to medium pointed teeth visible when the mouth is open. Males are larger and slightly bulkier, facial markings are not quite as feminine and usually do not extend above the eye as far. Mature males have larger canines than juveniles and females, and may be visible when the mouth is closed. Local populations vary quite a bit in terms of colors, markings, fins and size. Wings and fins are frilly and have spots and holes in some areas, hence the name "lacewing".
- Eyes: Usually somewhere in the spectrum of gold to orange to red.
- Main color coat: Blue with hints of purple, almost like a slight opalescence, with pink spots.
- Hair/mane: No hair, but the membranous crest goes down from the forehead to the tail, and is light blueish purple.
- Tattoos: None in particular, you can give them some if you like, but being as scaley as they are it would probably be kinda hard.
- Scars: Can be draw with or without them.
- Physical particularities: Can be draw with or without them.
Personality: Usually peaceful and semi social, some are mostly solitary, and some live in small family groups or mated pairs. They are omnivores but not active hunters of large prey. They are intelligent but as animals/ferals they don't have any real culture, although they are probably quite close to humans in terms of intelligence. Anthros live in small, mostly peaceful tribes. Female animals/ferals lay clutches of one to three opalescent blue and pink eggs about once a decade, the male and female take care of the young until they fledge. They have become scarce due to trophy hunting and egg collecting, larger populations only exist in very isolated habitats.
Jewelry/Clothing/: I don't think they wear any as ferals, but you can add some if you like. As anthros they probably wear mostly tribal stuff, scant clothing like ornate loincloth type articles and either scant tops or no tops, as they live in a warm environment.
Preferred Mood/Theme: Anything is fine.
Preferred Environment: Tropical jungles and rain forests, they often live in caves, mountain cliffs, or very large, ancient trees, especially those in the emergent layer or those that border clearings to make takeoff easier.

Available for Mature Content: Nakedness is fine, violence is ok, but nothing explicit.
Anything else that should be known: Feel free to get creative, they can be quite diverse as both animals and anthros.
