Montane Wyvern

I started this painting in January (although this dragon has been

sitting in my sketchbook for maybe a year or so), finished the dragon,

and set it aside not knowing what to put in the background.The shading has

more depth to it in real life, althought the colors are still fairly soft.

Watercolor, acrylic and gel pen on acid free Stonhenge paper.
